Choreographer, dancer and acrobat

"My choreographic language is the result of years of research on the meeting between dance, theater and circus arts. My shows are characterized by a strong theatrical aesthetic on which dance can rely and develop in full freedom of poetry and virtuosity. I position myself at the border between different arts, categories or disciplines; it is in the tendency to go beyond this border that I find the strength that will nourish my creative processes. I devote myself entirely to it so that my work reproduces the fruit of this radical contamination between dance, circus and theater."

Collaborations:
Piergiorgio Milano has worked and collaborated with numerous international artists among whom: Boris Gibé, James Thiérrée, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Rodrigo Pardo, David Zambrano, Roberto Olivan, Raffaella Giordano. He created and directed the choreographies for the film "Il Flauto Magico", produced by the Orchestra di Piazza Vittorio and Paco Cinematografica Roma. He teaches physical theater and contemporary dance in various European schools and companies, among which: SEAD University of Contemporary Dance, Salzburg; Danscentrumjette, Brussels; Athens Video Dance Festival; Tripspace, London; University of Sport of Chambéry; Opus Ballet - Florence; Circus School of Lomme, Lille; Le Lido, Circus School of Toulouse; Flic, Circus School of Turin.
