Compagnie du Chien qui Tousse

The Coughing Dog is a children's theatre company founded in 2000 by Abdeslam Hadj Oujennaou, Aude Droessaert-de Swetschin, Yann-Gaël Monfort and Dominik Rentsch.

Since its inception, it offers funny, moving and meaningful shows. Thanks to the different levels of reading present in its works, it appeals to everyone.

The art of body mastery is at the heart of its theatrical approach and is associated with a writing that leaves room for the spectator's imagination, considering him as a co-author.

It favors a theater that is a moment of shared pleasure and resolutely optimistic because it seems that there are in these premises "good enough conditions" to allow the establishment of a critical autonomy.

SHOWS

PiratEs (2024)

Follow the crossed and fascinating destinies of two female pirates, Anne Bonny and Mary Read, who will have to use cunning and courage to emancipate themselves from their dark destiny!

The show takes us into the fiery universe of piracy, a world of men and unbreakable camaraderie, where our heroines will have to make a place for themselves.

Things to say! (2021)

For Mr Meziano it is of the utmost importance to listen to the rustling of things, to lend an ear to the stories they tell us. It is about our happiness to inhabit the world.

When he welcomes us into his shop, surrounded by heterogeneous objects, he knows that the neighborhood is changing, and with it, habits. But Mr Meziano resists. He continues his delicate repairs and finds a special place on his beautiful shelves for each new object. Mr Meziano tells us about a world where objects still "speak". He can even recount the day the first "thing" was invented.

Come in! You will know why pens leak in your pockets and you will never look at a chair the same way again.

The Key Moment (2018)

The story begins late at night, at this hour when people who have a roof are sleeping. Seeming to come out of a can, a strange being appears in front of a tramp, and offers to accompany him to a better world. Could it be a genie?

The tramp is seduced, but first, he feels the need to understand at what moment his life tipped over. In search of an answer, and as if by magic, Jean-Pierre revisits his life: what becomes exceptional is to have twenty euros in his pocket, to be loved, to dance, to laugh.

Monte Cristo (2013)

Edmond is young, handsome, talented, honest and generous. He is about to marry the most beautiful woman in the neighborhood when suddenly... the jealous, the wicked, the greedy, lurking in the shadows, decide otherwise. Unable to fight against the power of their plot, the young man will be destroyed and incarcerated in the Château d'If. Twenty years later, no one will be able to prevent the mysterious Count of Monte Cristo from satisfying his terrible desire for revenge...

Go for it! (2010)

Coco is eight months and twenty-nine days pregnant.

Gégé has always been dumped: by girls, by family, by life.

For Sam, everything was going pretty well until today, but he just lost his job. He was a security guard in a bank and they replaced him with cameras. That's when the three friends, accomplices forever, have the same idea at the same time: enter the bank at night, thwart the security systems, just to make it clear that a security guard is irreplaceable. And here are the three rascals embarked on a most rocambolesque adventure.
