Compagnie 3637

Company 3637 was founded in Brussels in 2008 by Sophie Linsmaux, Bénédicte Mottart, and Coralie Vanderlinden.

Over the course of our creations and organically, the diversity of forms, languages, and artistic universes, has become our identity. Coming from various backgrounds and driven by different sensitivities, we develop an artistic approach that blends words, movement, puppetry, soundscapes, etc., offering various modes of transmission and therefore diverse lines of interpretation.

For each performance, we aim to create a specific stage language fundamentally linked to the subject and the audience we wish to meet. In 2018, the company wanted to structure itself differently, in order to further emphasize our priorities and improve the visibility and readability of the company. Addressing a young audience then became our spearhead. A theater with a mixed aesthetic, which incorporates significant work on physicality, which is rooted in an active, thoughtful approach, towards the young and school audience, and from these, towards teachers and accompanying adults.
