PAN ! La Compagnie

Founded in 2005 to present its first creation "The Witch in the Broom Closet" for children and youth, Pan! (The Company) has gradually, over the course of performances, encounters and projects, carved out a place among the emerging companies of the French-speaking Belgian youth theatre.

Thanks to its various activities of creation primarily, but also mediation and production, Pan! (The Company) has found a balanced place within the cultural sector of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. Youth theatre of course, but also for adults, street art, music, cinema and cultural mediation in schools and associations, all places of commitment that testify to the commitment of Pan! (The Company) to the stimulation of the performing arts.

Pan! (The Company) is a lively and vibrant company that, despite an increasingly fragile economic context, continues to explore the ever-widening territory of artistic creation while remaining attentive to the world, seeking to question it with sincerity and humor and daring to innovate, even at the risk of sometimes making mistakes.

After ten years on the road in a chaotic yet still surprising world, Pan! (The Company) wishes today to hold, with ever more ardor, its artistic and citizen role by continuing its work. Time passes but the desire remains intact: to walk in precarious balance on the wire that separates the audience from the stage, privileged witness of this uncertain and vibrant link that unites the spectators in a same vision, however ephemeral, of their humanity. Driven by humanist convictions, almost naive it is true when we can only watch, powerless, the decay of our societies, we hope to continue to inscribe multiple worldviews in the common cultural heritage with our imperfections, our fragilities and our hopes, however tenuous they may sometimes be.
