The second millennium was brand new and still smelled like the end of the world when Karine (Birgé) and Marie (Delhaye) escaped, diploma in hand, from the dramatically famous Liège Art Conservatory. They joined forces to venture through the Brabant forest and pull the bobbin of the good fairy Limbos. Agnes (that's the fairy's name) soon opened her back shop to them and so many wonders presented themselves to their astonished eyes: shelves of cornucopia, rabbit skin stills, magic lanterns made from real 2CV headlights!
There they discovered that God is within us but without papers and especially that the world is flat and fits very well on a table. Then one fine day, under the shadow of a crepe paper sun, an aluminum moon appeared and they liked each other, groomed each other, and from the purity came Destiny. Thus were born the Karyatides and the world was all the more beautiful.
Moving from the age of innocence to that of the manifesto, they will henceforth tirelessly revisit the monuments of literature through objects, pass miniatures through the thread of great pens, and let the mastodons of the Pantheon frolic on their dactyl tablets in the air of the time, without fuss, under our miraculously cleaned eyes from the surrounding waterzooï, even permanently rejuvenated.
They defend a popular theater that believes in the poetry of our common references, in the economy that speaks volumes, in humor that grinds and in organic elbow grease preferably.
